Assignment #1:  The mission statement of American airlines

AMR Corporation is committed to providing every citizen of the world with the highest quality air travel to the widest selection of destination possible. AMR will continue to modernize its fleet while maintaining its position as the largest air carrier in the world, with the goal of becoming the most profitable airline. AMR is the airline that treats everyone with equal care and respect, which is reflected in the way each AMR employee is respected. AMR recognize that its employees are the key to the airlines success and invest in the futures in lives of its employees. By investing in tomorrow technologies and by following a strict adherence towards environmental regulations, AMR demonstrate its commitment to the world environment.



Assignment #2:  The concept of American airlines

The concept of American airlines is to provide customers a good and efficient service, by transporting them with the most convenience and secure way toward their destinations.

The target market

American airlines primary target is adults 25-54 who travel frequently on business. Through the AAdvantage marketing program, which is one of the most successful customer-loyalty program in the world with more than 14 million actives members, has classified that business people through these ages are more likely their target market.

    American Airlines always make customer's travel experience unforgettable, by giving the best service and making them feel as they were in an "OASIS". American Airlines unique travel experience offers customers a wide variety of entertainment features that include, magazines, television and over 16 channels of music. Additionally, passengers can now travel without putting their lives on a standby, with the new innovation inflight wi-fi. This new technology innovation would make customers travel experience more interesting by making it possible for them to be connected with their families and friends, while flying on American Airlines.

Assignment #8:   American Airlines projection 2012




   American airlines, has been one the most profitable airlines in the world. although now at the end of this  year they declared  in bankruptcy, it would not stop them to continue growing up and giving customers the best service and travel experience in their life. one of its objectives for 2012 is to implement joint business agreements in the trans-Atlantic and trans pacific markets, additional alliances and network activities that would drive the company to be more successful and competitive.




Assignment #9:  American Airlines long-term strategy



 AMR corporation continues to confront today's difficulties head on while remaining focused on the long term, ex chairman and CEO Gerard Arpey said a couples months ago before he left the company.

  According to American Airline's home page, they have two majors long-terms strategies that wants to get accomplished for the next few year. one is to reduce the carbon dioxide or Co2, which is one of the primary gases contributing to global climate change, based on the carbon footprints that air travel still leaves in the clouds. this strategy is really excellent, because by taking care and showing a huge concern about the environment  American airlines would not only achieve their goal, but would also cooperate by giving the world a better environment to live. another long-term strategy is a fleet renewal approach, which is going to be very important for their customers and for the long-term success. By having the biggest purchase of aircraft almost at the end of this year, the goal for AA is obviously to make customers to feel more comfortable when they're flying and also to give them the best travel experience.

  1. You marketing plan should illustrate that you have carefully considered how to produce a product or provide a service that is innovative, unique and marketable. Some marketing plan templates may vary but a good marketing plan captures basically the same information.
